As a sculptor I love the expressive marks that I can make in clay and wanted to recreate these textures in two dimensional prints.
The resulting images were made on a self-built printing press that uses a hydraulic car jack in its workings. This allowed me to hand craft highly textured printing plates that leave images with an almost sculptural feel.
